assuming that the exhaust is already perfactly tuned to make your bike run the best throughout the power curve...if you restrict the exhaust from that point, the more you restrict the exhaust (the more back pressure you create)the cooler the engine will run but the less power you will have...is this correct?
and (starting with a straight pipe and cheap canester muffler) baffles or chicken wire...it's all the same...you are restricting the exhaust flow and it doesnt matter how you choose to do it, as long as the amount of restriction you decide upon is making the engine run the best?
